I promise you that if you follow these easy steps and create your own look you will wear it and BE PROUD!
- Loose chain gold or silver
- Measuring tape
- Jump rings (I purchased 4mm)
- Wire cutters
- Beads (if you wish to be more creative)
Now lets get started!
Step one: Using your measuring tape measure your wrist and cut the gold chain using your wire cutters (mine measured to 6 ½ inches around)
Step two: To complete the first part, the bracelet; add a jump ring to one end of the chain and then add another one to the other side along with a clasp.
Tip: Make sure jump rings are closed tightly with your pliers
Step three: Put your finished bracelet on your wrist and measure the length of the bracelet to your finger where you wear your ring. Cut the chain and attach to the middle of the bracelet with a jump ring.
However if you want to add your own touch read step 4:
Step four: Still measure the length of the bracelet, but instead insert your beads in between with wire and use two jump rings to connect each side, set aside.
Step five: For the ring portion, measure your middle finger around (add an extra centimeter for a better measurement) and use your wire cutters to cut the chain. Add a jump ring to bring the ring together
Step six: Take a final jump ring and connect the middle portion to the ring you just previously made.
Step 7: Your done! You have now made your own basic hand chain! You can either end here or if you are feeling creative add your own touch!
(Example: Connect two more pieces of chain diagonal on each side going to the middle of the chain, shown below)
Jewelry can play a huge role in expressing ones personality. Hand chains can boost someone’s self-confidence and strengthen their sense of style.
In your free time BE CONFIDENT AND GET CREATIVE you could never go wrong with this cheap and artistic approach to add a little pop into your daily outfit or special occasion!
