Beautiful Fight Box – Be A Beautiful Fighter

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Glorie Tiumalu I am a wife, mom, friend, boss lady, and a girl always on a mission! This list can go on and on so I’ll share just a few of my favorite passions with you. I am married to my husband and best friend for 18 years and counting! I get the honor of raising 3 amazing children Ahlaya 19, Marques 17, and Kaiauna 14 turning 15. I am the Women’s Ministry Leader at my local church. I get the privilege of encouraging and empowering women to walk out their purpose, whether it’s to be the best mom, wife, student, or becoming the best leader they can become. I’m very passionate about fighting for a cause bigger than myself. One of the many causes is the fight to end sex trafficking locally and globally. All of which has lead me to be the founder and owner of Beautiful Fight Box.

What exactly is Beautiful Fight?

Beautiful Fight Box is a Monthly faith-based and women’s lifestyle subscription box. It’s a movement of Beautiful Fighters, fighting for a cause bigger than themselves. The Box was created to Inform, Inspire and Give Back. We inform our subscribers about our unique featured products and the story behind who made them and whom they empower. Our intentions are to inspire others to fight for a cause and purchase with a purpose. For every box that is purchased, 10% of the proceeds is donated to a cause of the month.

What inspired you to start Beautiful Fight?

Four years ago, while on a mission trip in Cambodia. I set out to change the world but instead it changed me. My eyes where open to the realization that feeding a child a meal for one day or volunteering at an orphanage wasn’t going to end poverty and sex trafficking overnight. I felt as if my mission work was a temporary fix to massive problem, it’s like putting a band aid over a big gaping wound when it’s definitely going to need more than a band aid. On this trip I also learned about organizations that were alleviating poverty by providing education, tools and sustainable income in safe working conditions. This was a powerful example of the saying, “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” This is what inspired me to start Beautiful Fight. I was able to hear firsthand stories about women being empowered to support and provide for their families, children able to receive an education and communities that were able to rebuild and become livable again.

How did you come up with the name?

The name came from my own personal battles, struggles, and experiences. Which lead me to understand my purpose, to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. A fight, to be looked at as being ugly, shameful and messy but God sees them as beautiful. We all have a Beautiful Fight Story that has the power to encourage, strengthen, and build someone’s faith.
