zumba instructorIt’s Tone Up Tuesday!  Time to hit the gym…or not!  We think you should consider trying some different workouts that we’re sure are more fun than your usual running on the treadmill.

Here’s why we love Zumba:

1. It’s fun!  With all that music and dancing, it feels like you’re at a party!  You forget you are exercising.

2. There are no judgments!  We promise.  No wrong steps just accidental solos!  Meet others as you master the dances or stumble together.

3.  It’s social!  Treadmills are lonely, and gyms can be unfriendly.  Someone checking you out  without ever talking to you?  Not at Zumba!

4.  You’ll make lasting friendships.  The  Zumba studio we go to feels like one big family with a lot of laughs.

5.  You don’t need any prior dance experience (that’s where those laughs come in).  If we can do it, so can you!

6.  It brings down your stress level.  No matter how long the day, you’ll leave with a smile on your face.

7.  It’s great exercise.  An hour can burn 500 calories or more!
