5 Healthy Ways to Start Your Day by Katie Carter, University of Miami, SFTL Contributing Writer

If you’re anything like me you know that each day is a different story filled with school, friends, and whatever else life throws at you that day. My morning routine is essential for me to being productive, focused, and to feel my best. Here are my five favorite things to do in the morning:

meditategiphy1)Meditate: I set my alarm for 10 minutes earlier than I need to just so I can lay in bed with my eyes closed and get centered on what I would like to accomplish during the day.

Also the post sugary breakfast pastry won’t keep your energy up for the rest of your day.

I hope these tips will help set your morning off on the right and help you make the most out of everyday!
